PICten Package: $595+tax
The PICten Package includes a 2-hour studio session with as many poses (and diaper changes & feedings) as can fit into that amount of time.
This includes the squishy naked baby poses, as well as the posses with baby in newborn wraps.
I take a lot of pictures, and then create a proof gallery where you can select your 10 favorites, which I will edit fully. You may then download the full resolution files from an online gallery for printing, or purchase professional prints right from your gallery!
You will also receive a 8x10" Bamboo Mounted Print OR set of 25 Baby Cards to beautifully showoff your favorite photo to your family & friends!

EXPRESSions Package: $395+tax
The EXPRESSions Package includes a 1-hour studio session with 2-3 set-ups/poses which will work best for your baby's mood during your session. This usually means baby will be snuggled in newborn wraps & posed in nests and bowls.
I'll take a lot of pictures, and then create a proof gallery where you can select your 5 favorites, which I will edit fully. You may then download the full resolution files from an online gallery & print them yourself, or purchase top quality, professional prints right from your gallery!
You will also receive a 5x7" Mounted Print to beautifully showoff your favorite photo to your family & friends!
You can always choose more than 5 for just $40 per photo file (or 3/$100).

PICten Lifestyle/In-Home Newborn Package: $695+tax
Prefer a more casual lifestyle session in your home instead of a formal studio package? The PICten Lifestyle/In-Home Newborn Package includes a 2-hour in-home session with as many poses (diaper changes & feedings) as we can fit into that amount of time. We'll get pictures of baby in their nursery, and wherever in your home has the best natural light, (typically the living room or master bedroom) and/or wherever you'd like to take them. You can relax, snuggle & play with your new baby, and I'll document your precious time together!
I take lots of pictures, and then create a proof gallery where you can select your 10 favorites, which I will edit fully. You may then download the full resolution files from an online gallery & print them yourself, or you can make top quality, professional prints right from your gallery!
You will also receive a 8X10" Bamboo Mounted Print OR set of 25 Baby Cards to beautifully share your favorite photo with family and friends!

No need to worry about a fee for adding parents or siblings. They may participate in this in-home lifestyle session for no additional fee
• For locations outside the Macomb County area add $1 per mile for each additional mile to be traveled.
FRESHbaby Package: $795+tax
The FRESHbaby Package captures all of the newness, excitement, and sweetness of that freshly newborn baby, who changes so quickly in the days after birth. I'll come to your home, or to the hospital within 48 hours of your delivery and photograph a 1-hour lifestyle session as soon as I can get there, after birth, within normal business hours. The session will document some of those beautiful first moments of life with your precious new baby, possibly even the introduction of the baby to siblings, foot printing, a first bath, or other remarkable "firsts" with your new baby!
I take lots of pictures, and then create a proof gallery where you can select your 15 favorites, which I will edit fully. You may then download the full resolution files from an online gallery and make your own prints, or you can make top quality, professional prints right from your gallery!
You will also receive a 8X10" Bamboo Mounted Print OR set of 25 Baby Cards to beautifully share your favorite photo!
You can always choose more than 15 for just $40 per photo file (or 3/$100).

A $250 non-refundable retainer is required to book any of these packages. This fee reserves your EDD's "time-slot" on my calendar to ensure my availability to provide service as your photographer, and allows me to start preparing right away for your special day.

It doesn't take long for your newly newborn baby to start to change, and you don't want to forget that teeny-weeny (or chubby-wubby) baby you had for those first few precious weeks! capture these memories today, cherish them forever!
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
The best time to book your newborn session is as soon as you have your due date.
• Call or email me with your due date, and we will reserve a session in my studio about 1 week after your due date. Then, when baby actually arrives, we can tweak the date and time, if needed, to ensure we get your new little one in for a session during the ideal timeframe around 5-12 days old.
Book now to ensure that i will have a spot reserved for capturing those sweet newborn photos for your baby!
* TO BOOK YOUR SESSION:
A $300 non-refundable retainer is required to book any MMP package.
This fee is to reserve your time-slot on my calendar to ensure my availability to provide service as your photographer, and it allows me to start preparing right away for your special day.
• The remaining balance is to be paid in full on or before the day of services.
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR NEWBORN PICS?
Anytime in the first two weeks of your baby's life (5-12 days preferably) is a great time for a newborn session.
The earlier the better, while they are still very sleepy, and before they lose their newborn characteristics.
DO YOU WANT MY BABY TO SLEEP DURING THE NEWBORN SESSION?
Yes, we want your baby to sleep!
Once a newborn sleeps deeply, we can get all of those adorable baby poses that most parents crave! Try to plan ahead for your appointment to give us the best chance for a sleepy baby. I will send you further details on preparing for your session once your baby has arrived.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
I don't like to force a lot of my own props into newborn sessions. I would much prefer that you bring items that hold sentimental meaning or nostalgia to you. Items like: a special baby blanket, the cutest stuffed animal the baby has received, the wagon grandpa made, their first pair of baby shoes, etc.
**MUST HAVE ITEMS:
Burp cloth(s), extra diapers & wipes are a must!
I also suggest throwing in an extra set of clothes for parent(s), just in case, because occasionally, a diaper-less baby turns a clothing change into a necessity instead of an option!
WHO SHOULD COME TO THE SESSION?
All I need is mom and baby, but a supportive partner or grandparent is welcome too. Sometimes, it can be nice to have an extra pair of hands around. If you really want the siblings to be in the photos, you will want to plan on them only being around for part of the session.
(Note: There is a $50 fee to add siblings/family to the session, excluding lifestyle sessions)
Just photographing the newborn alone usually takes at least an hour, and sometimes the toddler-aged siblings don't last that long just watching.
• I recommend saving full family pics until the 3-4 month session, and letting the newborn session be all about baby.
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR BABY FOR PHOTOSHOOT?
• Be sure to clean baby's ears & finger/toe nails for closeup detail shots.
• Moisturize with your favorite newborn lotion, a few times a day, a couple days leading up to baby's session.
SESSION DAY PREP:
• Try to keep baby awake, if possible, for a few hours before session
• Change and feed the baby right before you head to the studio, or when you arrive. A dry and well fed baby will likely be a happy, sleepy baby!
• Dress baby in loose clothing that comes off easily, and doesn't leave marks on baby's skin (no tight socks).
HOW TO DRESS YOUR BABY FOR PHOTOS?
What a client should wear to their photoshoot is definitely the question I'm asked most often, and I get it! your photos are something you've likely spent a lot of time and money on, & with times as special as these, it's understandable that you want to get it right!
THIS IS WHAT I RECOMMEND:
WITH NEWBORNS, LESS IS MORE!
Especially for their very first photoshoot!
Even the cutest outfits can end up looking bunched up or frumpy on a tiny newborn. If you've got one or two outfits that you'd really like to use, go ahead and bring them along, and we'll try to do some poses in those as well. Otherwise, depending on the session you choose,
baby will be naked, diapered, or snuggled into a newborn wrap!
WHAT SHOULD PARNTS/SIBLINGS WEAR?
Neutral colors work best for family members.
You should plan on being in some photos too! Sometimes I will use parent(s) as a baby holder, even if they aren't specifically going to be in the shot, because it can be helpful if baby is not especially happy being snuggled in the moment.
To prepare, plan on neutral clothing and try to stay away from patterns or logos. You don't have to match exactly, but you do want to make sure that you are all wearing similar tones.
So, for example, you don't want 2 people in all white, and someone else in all black or neon. I've found that coordinating neutral tones like: Whites, creams or grays work best instead.
